When running reports, you may receive this error although not every time. Typically it is when you specify certain search criteria.
This is due to an automated upgrade to the reporting components which has changed the way in which they operate.
The fix is to upgrade to xen-IP 3.9.1 using the database patch described below.
IMPORTANT: Do NOT apply this patch to any version other than 3.9.0 (this can be checked by looking at the Help- About menu option). If you encounter this error message on an earlier version of xen-IP then you will need to upgrade to version 3.9.0 first and then apply the 3.9.1 upgrade. Please contact Xensis for details of how to download version 3.9.0 if you need to upgrade. If you do apply this patch in error, there is a revert patch to undo the upgrade, details are given below.
To run the database patch, download it from the Downloads page of the Xensis web site and save it to your PC, select Start - Programs - Xensis - xen-Patch and then select the patch - xen-IP 3.9.1 Upgrade.xen - and follow the instructions on the screen.
If you want to revert the upgrade you can download and run the patch - Revert xen-IP 3.9.1 Upgrade.xen - in the same way.
