xen-IP 3.9
Released
March 2010
saw the release of xen-IP version 3.9 (including all the other products
in the xen-IP family: xen-IP, xen-PAT, xen-TM, xen-Comm, xen-ProView,
xen-CommView). This new version includes the following new
features - Support for Windows 7 plus web installation of SQL Server
Express 2008, enhanced auditing, enhanced annuity processing, and
various minor maintenance fixes.
Windows 7 -
All products
now tested and approved
December 2009
– All Xensis products have now been tested and approved for use with Windows 7.
The only caveat is that the version of SQL Server Express supplied with xen-IP
3.8 needs to be upgraded to Service Pack 3 (SP3) to meet Microsoft
recommendations. We are working on a new release to include this Service
Pack but if you need to move to Windows 7 in the meantime you may wish to
upgrade from the Microsoft web site. Users of SQL Server databases on PCs
or servers not using Windows 7 do not need to take any action.
New
versions of all products released to support Windows Vista
August 2007 – new versions
of the xen-IP and xen-SE range released to support Windows Vista.
These new versions also encompass other new technology such as SQL Server Express
2005, Crystal Reports XI and Microsoft Office 2007.
xen-SE Plus
Released
June 2006 saw the
release of xen-SE Plus which builds on the strengths of xen-SE by adding new
record types (Proposals, Proceedings and General Records) which can all be
included in the Task and Alert generation process. xen-SE Plus also includes extended payments data, more spare
fields which can be customised by each client, and enhanced custom reporting
features.
Xensis
Knowledgebase Introduced
September 2005 - A new
on-line knowledgebase has been introduced for all Xensis products. This can be
accessed by clicking on the Support link on the web site menu bar. The support
topics can be browsed or keywords can be entered to perform a search (keywords
must be whole words, 4 or more characters in length). This will enable users of
our products to get immediate answers to question and problems.
xen-SE 1.1
Released
August 2005 - A new
version of xen-SE has been released to implement enhanced cut/copy/paste
functionality, improved alert generation, built-in database upgrade engine to
support future releases and enhancements, plus a few minor bug fixes.
This upgrade is free to existing customers, please visit the Downloads page to
download the latest version.

xen-IP
Downloadable CD Now Available
It is now possible for
existing and potential customers to download the entire xen-IP setup CD from
the Downloads page. This includes all the
different products in the xen-IP range (xen-IP, xen-PAT, xen-TM, xen-Comm,
xen-ProView, xen-CommView and xen-Web) as well as the full system, evaluation
system and upgrade to the latest version.
